Utilizing a wide variety of nondestructive testing methods I can conduct a through examination of the structural, mechanical, electrical, safety equipment and rigging of any sail or power vessel. The result is a detailed survey report, in which all aspects of a vessel are checked for compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations, and A.B.Y.C., N.F.P.A. and U.S.C.G. standards.

I adhere to the principal of non-destructive testing which is the process of surveying a boat without dismantling or otherwise harming the structure of the vessel or its components. Non-Destructive testing usually begins with a visual inspection and can incorporate testing methods such as percussion sounding, moisture metering,and engine oil anaylsis.

My survey reports include, a complete vessel description, photographs, equipment inventory, safety inspection, hull identification rubbing, overall condition assessment, repair recommendations as well as a comprehensive overview of the vessels current market valuation and replacement value.

I never charge my client for phone consultations. Once you retain me as your surveyor I work only for you and I report to no one else.
